Retreat Guidelines
Ethical conduct (sīla) is a clear code of behavior suggestd by the Buddha to stabilize the mind and mood to support joyful awareness in meditation and daily life.
Daily one-on-one interviews with personalized guidance to remove obstacles for progress in the stages of awakening.
Right Effort with the Six Rs makes it intuitive to do the 4-Right Efforts using the Six Rs method as described in the Suttas.
Cultivation of the Brahmavihāras (heavenly abodes) with loving-kindness (mettā), compassion, altruistic joy, and equanimity.
Stages of meditation (jhāna) combines tranquility (samatha), natural stillness (samādhi), and insight (vipassanā) leading toward awakening (nibbāna).
This technique is unique in that it combines Vipassana with letting go combined with loving-kindness to strike the perfect balance between effort and effortless—intention, and surrender.
