Adam Eurich

Adam Eurich, TWIM meditation instructor in Austin TX

TWIM instructor Adam Eurich offers meditation classes and retreats, helping students cultivate calm, clarity, and insight. He has been a meditation practitioner and explorer for over 24 years. His early path took him through Rinzai and Soto Zen traditions, U Ba Khin Vipassana, and exploring various Tibetan traditions until he became discouraged by his continued lack of clarity in practice. Yearning for a deeper connection with meditation and life, he spent three years visiting and studying various meditation traditions around the country. His search led him to Bhante Vimilaramsi, who guided him to the Buddha’s teachings in the Pali Canon suttas. After 15 years of study and practice from the suttas and TWIM tradition, and the passing of Bhante Vimalaramsi, he completed teacher training with David Johnson and Delson Armstrong. As a certified instructor, Adam currently leads classes in Austin and residential retreats in California.

Weekly Meditation Classes

Adam is a co-leader of a weekly meditation group with his wife Cassandra in Austin, Texas. His teaching interests are three-fold:
    • Assist newcomers who find meditation difficult.
    • Support dedicated practitioners to become independent in their own understanding of the suttas and mechanics of meditation.
    • Bridge the gap between the deep experiences of retreats with the opportunities for service and practice in daily life.

Our meditation classes are designed for beginners while also supporting experienced practitioners familiar with the awareness-jhānas. Each session offers a balanced mix of theory, guided instruction, practice, and group discussion.

“Adam was a great guide on my first TWIM retreat. He made me feel so welcome and in very safe hands. Whenever I struggled, he found the right words to say to bring me back on track – whether it was advice on technique, reframing some mental block, or sharing insights from his own practice and life. I couldn’t have wished for somebody better.”

—Stefan Torges London, United Kingdom

“His experiences with the jhānas are profound, and he explains them with clarity. His knowledge of Early Buddhist teachings, as well as recent research, is broad and precise. His treatment of people is sincere, as he devotes himself to the welfare of others in many ways. His dedication to TWIM is steadfast, demonstrated by the fact that he explored other practices before ultimately committing to TWIM.”
